Tarmo Vesterbohm was born into a very musical Estonian family.
Tarmo lives and works happily in Amsterdam, Holland Since 1992.
Tarmo studied music at the Estonian Music College Conservatory from 1987 till 1991.
Next from 1993 till 1997 at Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam.
Tarmo has gathered lots of experience by playing in Holland at Royal Theatre Carré, Hilton hotel,
and currently in hotel de L’Europe in Amsterdam. But also in Belgium, Germany, France,
in Turino at the Opera Theatre during the Olympic Winter games and in…...Hong Kong.
Tarmo is varied (many-sided) pianist who has a very broad repertory.
With a program full of highlights he will not only carry you along many well-known and lesser
known composers,but also his own romantic oeuvre / compositions.From classical world melodies
to impressive jazz and blues chords.
Tarmo produced, in collaboration with musicians from the Berliner Philharmonic and the
Concertgebouw Orchestra, a very special CD, titled “Souls at Sea”.
As result of the disaster of the ferry Estonia in 1994 this CD was dedicated by him to all victims
Who lost their lives at sea.
His own compositions are a combination of beautifully orchestrated symphonic sounds and simple
but emotionally colorfull piano melodies.
